Sketchpad charcoal and ipad mixed media Cataract Gorge – Mic Rees 2014
Early start Set off fire alarm in cottage from shower steam managed to fumble my way out and turn it off, before fire brigade arrived (close door, put fan on). Beautiful sunny day 0-12 degrees. Painted walking and stopping along the Zig Zag circuit, climb to top of Eagles eyre for incredible views into the Gorge below.
The swirls have now gone completely gone and lower tracks are now acceesable. A bridge I never knew existed is now in clear view, where only days before kayakers road straight over it when it was covered. Late lunch then into town for some art supplies, back to do some mixed media studies for the evening.
